Our operations across Worcestershire

We work in partnership with West Midlands Ambulance Service and Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, ensuring a joined-up emergency response to incidents across the county. In remote or hard-to-reach areas, we may also work with Mountain Rescue to assist in accessing patients.

Depending on the incident, we regularly support on patient transfers to hospitals including Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, Hereford County Hospital and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

“When I came round around five minutes later, I was unable to walk.”

“I understood later on that the travel time to hospital was greatly reduced thanks to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. I therefore received treatment in hospital much earlier than if I had travelled in a land ambulance.”
