A Paramedic with over 35 years’ experience, Ian Roberts was previously appointed as Air Operations Manager in April 2018. After leaving the role in 2021, Ian is now the charity's Clinical Strategy Lead.
A keen enthusiast of motorsport and keeping fit, Ian is an experienced pair of hands for the team.
Ian says, “As well as the responsibility that we have the right equipment and correct mix of crew, we ensure our team regularly updates its skills; a challenge, but worth it for the satisfaction we get from helping some seriously ill people.”
