The first contact with a critically injured patient is often the greatest opportunity to influence survival. Early recognition, rapid intervention, and effective decision‑making are key to improving patient outcomes in the pre‑hospital environment.
This 1‑day immersive workshop equips clinicians with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to manage the seriously injured patient from first contact through to handover. The course is run in small groups with plenty of coaching, repetition, and structured feedback, with a focus on transferable skills you can apply immediately in pre-hospital and ED/critical care environments.
Participants will work through structured trauma assessment, high‑risk presentations, and critical interventions that can make a meaningful difference during the earliest phase of care.
Designed for paramedics, 3rd-year paramedic students, NQP's, Paramedics, nurses and doctors with an interest in pre-hospital emergency medicine.
