West Midlands based home builder, Barratt Homes, has extended its support for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, announcing the lifesaving pre-hospital emergency service as its charity of the year until 2025.
The company’s past year of fundraising raised more than £89,000, surpassing £260,000 milestone in five years, which has helped to fund more than 170 vital missions, reaching and treating the region’s most critically ill and injured.
To recognise the lifesaving impact Barratt Homes’ fundraising has achieved, the charity invited its partners to their Cosford airbase and charity headquarters, where the lifesaving service unveiled Barratt Homes’ logo on its H145 air ambulance.
Jon Cottrell, senior partnerships executive at the charity, said: “Thank you to everyone at Barratt Homes West Midlands for the immense support over the years, which has helped fund dozens of lifesaving missions across the region. Having the company logo on our Cosford air ambulance helicopter is a fitting gesture of our gratitude for the commitment they have made to our cause.”
Adrian Evans, Managing Director at Barratt Homes West Midlands, said: “We’re thrilled to round off another year of fantastic fundraising for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and donate more than £89,000.
“Our colleagues can proudly say they’ve raised above and beyond last year’s total by more than £27,000, which is an incredible achievement.
“The charity deserves the highest recognition for its contribution towards lifesaving missions across the West Midlands and we’re looking forward to taking this partnership even further.”
