Wednesday 22nd April 2026

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is celebrating the incredible support of Cotswold Bikers' Nite Group, who has raised more than £17,000  for the charity over the past 12 months.

The Gloucestershire-based group has been fundraising for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity since 2002and in that time has raised almost £165,000 to help fund the charity’s advanced pre-hospital emergency service across the region.

Cotswold Bikers’ Nite runs weekly meets every Wednesday evening from April through to October at various locations across Gloucestershire. The popular gatherings attract motorcyclists and enthusiasts from miles around, with attendees invited to make a donation on the night in support of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Raffles and additional fundraising activities also help boost the total each year.

The group is led by dedicated fundraiser Stephanie Shaw, whose passion for bringing the biking community together while supporting a vital cause has made a lasting impact. What began as a way to reconnect friends from the biker scene has grown into a well-established calendar of events.

Emma Wood, head of fundraising and engagement at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “The commitment shown by Stephanie and everyone involved in Cotswold Bikers’ Nite is nothing short of remarkable. Raising over £17,000 in just 12 months is a fantastic achievement, and reaching nearly £165,000 overall is truly inspiring. Community groups like this make a real difference, helping to ensure our crews can continue responding to lifesaving missions across Gloucestershire and beyond. We are incredibly grateful for their continued support.”

Stephanie Shaw added: “Cotswold Bikers’ Nite is all about community. We love bringing people together who share a passion for bikes but we also know how important it is to support Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Many of us understand just how vital their service is to road users, especially bikers. I’m incredibly proud of what everyone has helped us achieve over the years and this latest £17,000 is down to the generosity of every single person who turns up and puts a donation in the bucket.”

Cotswold Bikers’ Nite will continue their weekly meets throughout the season, welcoming new and familiar faces alike to enjoy an evening of bikes, camaraderie and fundraising.
