Exclusive Access to Cheltenham’s Season Finale for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

Tuesday 1st February 2022

Join Midlands Air Ambulance Charity at Cheltenham’s only-evening fixture on Friday 29th April 2022 for a meeting with seven Hunter chases and exclusive use of The National Hunt Room.

Taking place in one of the most desirable restaurants at the famous racecourse, the Hunter Chase evening will see amateur riders and trainers competing for the ultimate dream; winning at the Home of Jump racing.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s exclusive tickets will include entry into the racecourse and the National Hunt Room restaurant, where a three-course hot buffet will be served, a race card and tote, cheeseboard and after-dinner refreshments, a charity goody bag, all day entry into The Centaur, and post-race entertainment including a headline DJ set from BBC Radio 1’s Greg James.

The restaurant features fantastic viewing from grandstand seating overlooking the course, as well as a private balcony overlooking the parade ring.

Guests will also be joined on the evening by VIP special guests who come with first-hand experiences of racing.

Pam Hodgetts, corporate partnerships manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “We’re so grateful to Cheltenham Racecourse and The Jockey Club for supporting our charity and allowing us this exclusive opportunity to offer to some  of our supporters, who have over the past few years experienced a number of fantastic equine-related events with us.

“Corporate partnerships are of huge value to our lifesaving service, and we encourage any businesses who are interested in coming along and getting involved to reach out for a conversation.”

Nick Scholfield, professional jump jockey, added: “All jockeys understand the importance of having an air ambulance nearby, and Cheltenham, being the home of jump racing, makes this all the more important. We’re very lucky to have a pre-hospital emergency service such as Midlands Air Ambulance Charity nearby, and although we hope to never need it, it’s a blessing to know it’s always on hand.”

A number of packages, both for individuals and corporates, are available for the evening, with prices starting at £135 per ticket. Visit the Hunter Chase event page or email Abbie Hawkins, partnerships executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to find out more.
