Harry Helped Back On His Feet

Friday 28th May 2021

A young boy from Rugeley raised funds for the lifesaving service that came to his rescue following a road traffic collision in early 2020.

Nine-year-old Harry Coulton, from Rugeley, found himself in need of help from Midlands Air Ambulance Charity after being hit by a car and suffering multiple injuries to his leg and foot.

After being helped back on his feet, he started fundraising for the rapid response, emergency service which treated him and conveyed him to hospital. He has now raised in excess of £300 for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity funding one mission in the organisation’s critical care car.

Harry Coulton, former patient of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity said: “I feel overwhelmed with the support I’ve received in my fundraising. I am so grateful to everyone who assisted me in my recovery.”

Kelly Weatherer, Staffordshire fundraising executive for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity says: “We do not receive any Government funding for our daily missions, so any generous donations made by those in the local communities we serve, like Harry and his fellow donors in Rugeley, really do help us make lifesaving missions possible.”
