Shropshire-based law firm Fodens Solicitors has joined Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s panel of approved solicitors, and will be providing free Wills to over 55s as part of the charity’s Free Will Writing Scheme.
Forty per cent of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s annual income comes from legacy giving, and makes a huge difference to the lifesaving work of the charity. Those aged 55 or over are eligible for this service, and MAAC will pay a discounted fee to Fodens to cover the cost of the Will.
Sophie Yates, director at Fodens Solicitors, said: “Fodens are delighted to be involved in the Midlands Air Ambulance Free Will Writing Scheme as it offers such a great service to clients whilst supporting a very worthwhile cause.
“It allows clients to think about the benefit they can give to charity in an alternative way to gifting during their lifetime.”
Emma Gray, fundraising and marketing director for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “It is not just our dedicated aircrew who saves lives, but also the people who support our vital service, including those who kindly consider us in their Will.
“Midlands Air Ambulance Charity has partnered with a number of reputable solicitors across the regions we serve, to offer free Will writing, and we’re delighted that Fodens is now part of the group that provide this valuable service.”
