Midlands Air Ambulance Charity hosted Bathing in Business on Wednesday 18th March, marking six months of successful networking events that bring together Shropshire business owners in a relaxed and inspiring environment.
Held at the charity’s headquarters at its Cosford airbase, the event created valuable opportunities for local professionals to connect, share experiences and build meaningful relationships, all while gaining a unique insight into the lifesaving work of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Each session has welcomed a diverse mix of businesses from across the region, including many new faces, reinforcing the strength and resilience of the local business community. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to fostering collaboration, support and growth among Shropshire’s entrepreneurs.
To conclude the most recent event, attendees were invited to take part in a short tour of the charity’s training facilities, where they learned more about the range of courses available. These include emergency first aid at work, lifesaver training, as well as specialist programmes such as first biker on scene and first farmer on scene.
Teri Harding, corporate partnership executive for Shropshire at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “It’s been fantastic to welcome Bathing in Business to our headquarters.. The event provide a brilliant platform for local businesses to come together, connect and support one another, while also learning more about the vital work we do. We’re proud to showcase not only our operational facilities but also the range of training courses we offer, which help equip people with the skills and confidence to respond in emergency situations.”
Fran Ash, founder of Bathing in Business, added: “It was a real honour to collaborate with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and bring Bathing in Business to their headquarters. When the team approached me about hosting one of our events there, it felt like a perfect fit - not only to support such an incredible organisation, but to give local business owners the opportunity to see first-hand the vital work they do.
“The morning itself was fantastic. We welcomed a brilliant mix of Shropshire business owners, including many new faces, and being able to experience the facilities - and even witness the helicopters responding to a live call-out - made it incredibly special. It really brought to life the level of resilience, dedication and teamwork that goes into everything they do.
“Bathing in Business is all about creating a relaxed, supportive space for small business owners to connect, have honest conversations and build meaningful relationships, so to be able to do that in such an inspiring setting made this event one I won’t forget in a hurry.”
