Support Lifesaving Missions Through Style and Sustainability

Tuesday 20th January 2026

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is delighted to announce its Scones & Sustainability networking event on the 12th February 2026, from 2pm to 4.30pm at the historic Weston Park Estate in Shifnal. This unique occasion blends sustainability, style and community engagement, all in support of the charity’s lifesaving mission.

Sponsored by Shropshire IT Recycling and Skunkworks IT, the event invites guests to enjoy an elegant afternoon tea created by award-winning chefs, solely with home-grown, locally sourced produce - offering a delightful networking opportunity while celebrating regional culinary excellence.

A highlight of the afternoon will be an inspiring presentation by Elise Hughes, a Herefordshire-based House of Colour styling specialist. Elise will share expert insights on choosing colours and makeup that enhance personal confidence and expression, helping guests look - and feel - their best.

As part of the charity’s emphasis on sustainable living, attendees are encouraged to bring an unloved item of clothing from home to swap for another pre-loved piece – with any unclaimed items donated as retail stock for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s shops. This clothing exchange champions circular fashion whilst helping to support the charity.

The afternoon will conclude with an optional guided tour of Weston Park’s historic house, showcasing its world-class collection of fine and decorative art owned by th Weston Park Foundation - offering guests a chance to connect with cultural heritage in a stunning setting.
