Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Land Rover Raffle Rules
General Rules
- This Raffle is only open to residents of Great Britain over the age of 18 (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and BFPO addresses according to Gambling Act 2005 regulations) but excludes Midlands Air Ambulance Charity paid personnel. Volunteers are eligible to enter
- No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 years
- The cost of each entry is £10. Players may purchase more than one entry, and payment must be in advance. Maximum number of entries is 10
- If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize and the stake will be returned
- All proceeds from this raffle will be used for the charitable purposes of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity
- The prizes for the Raffle are 1st Prize Land Rover Defender or £20,000, 2nd Prize £500, 3rd Prize TV (up to the value of £400), 4th Prize £100. There are no alternatives to any prize. Land Rover Defender prize is a 2014 Land Rover Defender 110 County Station Wagon. This is seven-seater with a 2.2L “Puma” Turbo Diesel engine and 6-speed manual gearbox with current mileage of 50,000 miles. It comes with a set of brand-new Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 tyres. Please note during the raffle period, the mileage may be increased due to promotion
- For first prize winner – Once you’ve confirmed receipt of your win notification, you will be given five working days to confirm your chosen prize
- If you win and choose the Land Rover, you will be expected to arrange collection of the Land Rover within 30 days of notification. Midlands Air Ambulance Charity will ask to see proof of insurance, before signing over the Land Rover to the winner. The insurance, maintenance and running costs of the Land Rover will be the responsibility of the winner from the time of collection of the Land Rover
- We operate a combined online/offline draw ensuring that each entrant has an equal chance of winning each prize. The draw will be conducted by utilising a Random Number Generator that has been tested and approved by an independent, Gambling Commission approved, third party test house in combination with a blind draw in plain sight of staff. The results of the draw are final
- Based upon the number of entries in our Festive Raffle 2023 the average the chance of winning a prize for a single ticket is approximately 1 in 3,940
- Of the £66,984 received in ticket sales in the Festive Raffle 2023, 29% went on expenses, 6% on prizes and a fantastic 65% came back to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to fund our work
- In person entries must be received by Friday 27 September 2024. Online entries must be received by midnight on Monday 30 September 2024
- Late entries will be treated as donations
- The draw will be held on Friday 4 October 2024
- Winners will be notified by post, email or telephone no later than two weeks after the draw date. Please keep your ticket number as proof of purchase
- A list of winners will also be published on the website within two weeks of the draw date. These will only be in summary, for example Ms Smith from Berkshire
- Winners may be asked to take part in Midlands Air Ambulance Charity PR and promotional activity
- If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made by Midlands Air Ambulance Charity to contact the winner, then Midlands Air Ambulance Charity will be entitled to dispose of the prize as it thinks fit. The winner has one month after notification to claim the prize

Online Entries
- To enter the online raffle an entrant must self-certify that they are the required age to play. A confirmation email will be sent to the entrant confirming their numbers in the draw and thanking them for their participation. Random age verification checks are carried out at regular intervals. If an entrant is found to be under the required age their payment will be returned and they will not be entered into the draw
- Entries must not be bought on behalf of somebody else
- In order to promote responsible gambling, it is recommended that no more than 10 chances are to be purchased per person for the Raffle
- Material changes to this raffle are not predicted to happen, but in the event that this occurs you will be notified by email 14 days in advance of any changes
